The NG-THIN2 ramp is a single board, telescopic access ramp powered electrically (24v DC) for installation on public service vehicles. It comprises a cassette mounted directly under the bus floor, and is designed to operate up to a 275mm high step edge.

This ramp meets the requirements of the UNECE 107. At a maximum height of 275mm
The NG-THIN2 powered ramp is installed at the front and/or centre bus door, and has significantly increased ground clearance to reduce the risk of accident damage. It allows operation of a ramp without affecting the standing area adjacent to doors.
The ramp is deployed by pressing a switch located in the driver’s cab. During deployment there is an audible warning that ceases when the ramp is fully extended.
The ramp is linked to the buses 5kph interlock, which prevents operation of the ramp in excess of that speed. A handbrake interlock ensures the vehicle cannot be driven with the ramp extended or in motion.
The NG-THIN2 ramp is manufactured using stainless steel running parts, polymer internal components, steel gears and drive shaft, anodised aluminium chassis and galvanised cladding, and uses modern composite technology for the platform.
The ramp is equipped with an electronic safety function causing it to STOP when making contact with an obstruction. (Known as the “Sensitive Edge”).
