Bus System Management for Authorities
About
This session is in collaboration with POLIS.
This session will explore the concept of eBus Rapid Transit (eBRT) in Europe, focusing on its implementation and growth. We’ll dive into topics such as public acceptance, examining how communities are responding to the shift from traditional buses to electric buses. The discussion will highlight the low-cost, increased efficiency and improved service levels that eBRTs can offer compared to alternative transit systems. Additionally, we’ll look at the potential of eBRT in peri-urban areas, where the demand for sustainable and efficient transportation is rising. With concrete examples from Barcelona, Stockholm, and Rimini (tbc) we hope to show how eBRTs can become an important part of European cities and regions transport networks.
