Driving the future tachograph device: harnessing emerging technologies for smarter, more secure and more efficient tachographs devices. With the rise of new technologies such as AI, 5G connectivity, blockchain and advanced sensors, the tachograph can not only become more efficient, but also much safer, smarter, more secure and more flexible. This session offers an inspiration and insight into how these innovations can improve the transport sector, increase safety, increase security and at the same time reduce the administrative burden. We present and discuss the opportunities and challenges that come with integrating technologies into the daily practice of transport companies.
