As a result of the unique movement, the door system seals and locks with the main closing edge along the entire length of the door leaf behind the portal rubber. This special seal prevents wind and water from entering the vehicle. The Rapid Sliding door is suitable for high speeds of up to 100 km/h with minimal external noise, improving driver and passenger comfort.
Due to its over-centre locking mechanism, the Rapid Sliding door offers extra safety by concept. The system ensures that when the door is in the locked position and weight or force is applied to the door leaves, they are pushed further into
the vehicle, increasing the locking forces. As a result, a locked door cannot be opened without vandalism or misuse. Passengers can use the emergency system to safely exit the vehicle if necessary.
