The session will highlight the importance of user-centric passenger transport and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion (DEI) by design. Raising awareness among all stakeholders (public and private transport service providers, technology providers and users) about the benefits and functionalities of digital tools, such as real-time traffic information, Multimodal Mobility Management within the mobility network, mobility apps, transport digital tools including ticketing platforms, are some of the topics to be discussed by the panelists of this session. The discussion will focus on creating inclusive systems that cater to diverse user needs, including those with disabilities or limited digital access. Participants of this session will also be exposed to presentations about strategies to bridge the digital divide and ensure equitable access to transportation services. Ultimately, the session aims to dive in discussing real examples for a more accessible, user-centric approach to digital transformation in passenger transport.
