Engineered for next-generation electric, hybrid, and hydrogen vehicle platforms, Grayson’s CP2-800V DC canned electric water pump delivers powerful, maintenance-free performance in a compact and lightweight design.
With its seal-less canned motor construction, the CP2 eliminates mechanical seals and moving interfaces between the motor and coolant, ensuring a long, reliable service life even under the most demanding thermal cycles. Coolant flows directly through the motor, providing efficient heat transfer and exceptional durability for high-pressure, high-flow applications.
Operating on high-voltage systems between 400V and 800V DC, the CP2 significantly reduces low-voltage load on the vehicle, simplifying wiring and improving overall electrical efficiency. Its PWM-controlled brushless motor provides precise control of flow and pressure, allowing integration into complex, multi-loop thermal systems for battery, fuel cell, and power electronics cooling.
Constructed from anodised cast aluminium and stainless steel, the CP2-800V offers excellent corrosion resistance and is compatible with de-ionised water and a wide range of coolants, making it ideal for fuel cell and battery-electric vehicle applications. Despite its robust capability (delivering up to 100 L/min flow and 2.5 bar pressure), the pump weighs only 3 kg, offering an exceptional power-to-weight ratio.
Tested and validated to ISO 7637, ISO 16750, and IP68 standards, the CP2-800V withstands harsh vibration, temperature, and environmental conditions from -40 °C to +105 °C ambient and -40 °C to +85 °C fluid temperatures. Designed and manufactured to Grayson’s exacting standards, it delivers the performance, reliability, and efficiency demanded by the world’s leading OEMs.
