- Air compression in two stages enables system pressure up to 15 bar
- Integrates pneumatic clutch to enable the compressor to completely disengage from the engine during energy-intensive and off-load phases
- Allows for intelligent air compression in combination with an electronic or electronically controlled air processing unit
- Enables inter-cooling of compressed air between both stages reducing end-compression temperatures by up to 100ºC
- Requires lower peak torques during compression reducing stress on the clutch
- Fail-safe clutch ensures that the compressor continues to pump air in case of broken signal line from air processing unit
