The REVO®-E R290, a fully electric and emission-free rooftop air conditioning system using natural refrigerant R290, is celebrating its world premiere.
This new product line is designed to meet the requirements of all bus types and sizes in all climate regions – even extremely hot environments. A range of optional functions can be integrated depending on requirements, including a heat pump, battery and component cooling, frontbox connection, and heat recovery. The system is fully interface-compatible with other Spheros models such as REVO®-E Global and REVO®-E HP R744.
The REVO®-E R290 will go into series production in the fourth quarter of 2026 and is equipped with a certified safety concept. With this, Spheros sets new benchmarks in sustainability, safety, and energy efficiency.
