Brussels, 3 October 2025
INDCAR, a flagship company for the design and manufacture of minibus bodywork, will once again attend Busworld Europe in a key year for the company, during which it has achieved record turnover and production figures. The fair is the ideal setting to officially presentits new corporate identity, a reflection of the transformation it is undergoing.
The presentation, led by INDCAR CEO Gaël Queralt, took place at 1:00 pm on 3 October during the 27th Busworld Europe trade fair in Brussels.
INDCAR is showcasing three vehicles from its range at stand number 402A in Hall 4: the 8-metre electricversion of the e-Mobi City, the 8.5-metre Wing for discretionary service and, for the first time, the Spicamodel, with its body on a Mercedes-Benz chassis. The Shaula model, also from the Mercedes-Benz range, will also be on display outside the hall.
2025 is shaping up to be a historic year for INDCAR. The company ended the last financial year with its turnover totalling €58 M, a figure which is expected to reach €78 M this year, a 34% increase that provides evidence of its solid and steady growth. Its production capacity will also reach a record high, rising by 23% from 450 to 555 units.
These results reflect the company’s evolution driven by its international expansion plan, with improved production systems and the talent of its human team.
A key milestone in 2025 has undoubtedly been the strategic operation forming part of its international growth and expansion plan, as announced last September: the acquisition of Car-bus.net, a Spanish bodywork manufacturer specialising in Mercedes-Benz chassis.
As a result of this integration, INDCAR has diversified its portfolio and now offers solutions suited to multiple chassis configurations, thus consolidating a range that covers both the urban and the tourist segments.
The e-Mobi City has been presented at Busworld as the new electric version of INDCAR’s renowned Mobi City on an Iveco eDaily chassis.
This zero-emissionmodel has already won its first tender, one that has been officially announced at Busworld: 129 units for the client Astral, which are set to operate in the Lazio region. The award was secured thanks to the capabilities of the vehicle, which is fully manoeuvrable and designed for easy city centre driving.
The e-Mobi City, a fully European urban vehicle, incorporates a 140 kW electric engine andon-board energy totalling 111 kWh, spread across three batteries. Its dualcharging system allows for 22 kW type-2 or CCS Combo2 connectors up to a maximum of 80 kW, with a full charge achieved in just one hour and 30 minutes.
“The development of this new model constitutes a major challenge for INDCAR. We’re proud to present a 100% European product that’s designed to meet the demands of all-electric urban mobility, in close cooperation with IVECO. In particular, we’d like to thank Romana Diesel, our partner in the area, for its support and commitment to the project.
It’s also an honour for us to take part in one of the most important tenders in Europe to acquire electric vehicles, which are scheduled to be on the road in the Lazio region from September 2026 onwards”, declared INDCAR CEO Gaël Queralt.
Busworld is displaying INDCAR’s new brand identity with a revamped stand featuring its new logo, which has also been applied to the vehicles on display for the first time. “It’s a redesign that heralds a new chapter in the company’s history”, stated Queralt.
In a world in constant motion, in which connectivity and efficiency are key, INDCAR is positioning itself as a strategic partner for achieving goals, as reflected in its new slogan: “Moving as one”.
This change defines the company’s current purpose, namely to bring people and communities closer together through accessible and efficient transport solutions.
