On 16th June, the 2025 UITP Global Public Transport Summit was grandly opened in Hamburg, Germany. As one of the largest and most influential events in the field of global public transport, the summit attracted more than 400 exhibitors, 2,800 conference delegates and tens of thousands of international visitors to gather in Hamburg to discuss cutting-edge technologies, innovative ideas and future development trends in the field of public transport.
At the summit, BYD, as a global leader in new energy vehicles, unveiled the new electric bus B13.b and the electric bus B12.b, which represents a cutting-edge solution for urban public transport, and became a highlight of the exhibition. Both models adopt the CMS（Camera Monitor System） from Senptec Electronics, which provides reliable technical support for the digital upgrade of vehicles.
With the rapid development of automotive intelligent technology, CMS, as an important part of the intelligent transformation of automobiles, have risen rapidly in the automotive industry in recent years, and their role in enhancing vehicle safety has become an industry consensus.
Compared with the traditional optical mirrors, CMS through the combination of camera and display, can effectively reduce the visual blind spot, in the rain, fog, glare and other harsh environments can still be clear imaging. It is learnt that this is not the first time that Senptec CMS follow BYD’s overseas debut. Previously, BYD BD11 double-decker buses debut in London, has been equipped with Senptec CMS, received good market feedback.
