Brigade to showcase vehicle safety solutions at
Busworld Europe 2025

Brigadewill be demonstrating its range of state-of-the-art safety solutions for vehicles in the bus and coach industry as part of its attendance at Busworld Europe 2025 in Brussels between 4th and 9thOctober.

The protection of drivers, passengers and other road users is a top priority for any public service vehicle fleet operator, and enhanced safety solutions are an essential component for all buses and coaches.

At Busworld, the experts from Brigade will be available to discuss the most effective safety requirements of the sector and offer guidance on a wide range of products, ensuring confident and focused driving and safeguarding workforces and service users. These include its Backeye360 HFR HD camera system and Driver Safety Cameras as well as other HFR cameras which utilise the latest technology to aid visibility in elevated driver positions.

Brigade’s recently upgraded award-winning Backeye360 HFR HD camera system has been a bestseller for the company since its 2023 launch. The 360-degree camera now features cutting-edge HFR capable of identifying humans in vehicle blind spots.

Brigade’s HFR cameras are the new generation of active blind-spot detection. Using artificial intelligence, the cameras detect and recognise pedestrians within a pre-defined detection zone and reliably notify the driver visually and/or audibly. Image processing is built into the camera, meaning no other hardware is required. The HFR cameras integrate effortlessly into a vehicle's existing infrastructure for a seamless upgrade and are compatible with a range of HFR-powered devices. They are continually using algorithms to learn and build on their experiences and HFR solutions to these can be built into the cameras.

Brigade’s newest product has recently entered the market – an HFR driver safety camera. This aims to enhance safety by ensuring drivers are alert at all times. Sensors positioned near the steering wheel continuously monitor the driver’s face, eyes and head movements. They can also pick up on mobile phone usage, unusual vehicle positioning and seatbelt deployment. Built-in HFR analyses these signals and sends audible notifications to the driver to affirm they are fully focused on the road.

Guillaume Amigues, Regional Director of Brigade, said:

“Brigade’s mission since 1976 has been to save lives, and all our products are rigorously tested to enable bus and coach drivers to make their journeys with confidence. Our experts will be available throughout the event to provide advice to any operator looking for recommendations for the best safety solutions for their fleet. We look forward to welcoming attendees to our stand.”

Brigade Electronics will be attending Busworld 2025 at Brussels Expo, Belgiëplein 1, 1020 Brussels, Belgium from 4th to 9th October and exhibiting its range of commercial vehicle safety systems. Find them at Hall 7, Stand 779.
